Carers Choice History
Carers Choice was originally called The Carers’ Relief Service and started in Medway Towns by a group of parents and professional carers in 1983. It expanded to Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley in 1995. The service grew so rapidly with many varied demands in the area that in 2002 Carers Relief Service Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley would become totally independent. In 2012 the name was changed to Carers Choice.
