In previous years we have hired a coach and taken a large group of our clients and support workers to Broadstairs for the day. We went to the Pavillion, who put on a lovely fish and chip dinner. We were able to use their facilities for the day if the weather was uninviting, or the clients split into smaller groups and enjoyed Broadstairs. We then met back at the Pavillion for afternoon tea before returning home on the coach. It was always an absolutely lovely day had by all.
In 2022, due to Covid, we put on a few small trips, for a couple of clients at a time. Our Clients either went to Eagle Heights or Whitstable for the day. These have proven to be really popular and much more successful for our clients who don’t enjoy being in crowded environments. It also meant that our clients had much more choice.
